Abstract

About 50% of seedlings of CUF101, a cultivar selected in California, USA, for its resistance to Acyrthosiphon kondoi, were resistant to heavy infestations of the aphid in the glasshouse whereas the remaining seedlings, and seedlings of Wairau, Saranac and Washoe, exhibited severe stunting and alterations in growth habit at the same level of infestation
