Ecologist

We’re on the lookout for an experienced, enthusiastic and talented ecologist to join our team of energetic and passionate professionals. You’ll be working on a broad range of challenging and rewarding projects, including eld-based projects which may require time away from our Auckland o ce working.

Ideally, you’ll bring at least 3 years’ professional experience, along with the following skills and attributes:

• A relevant professional quali cation, related to terrestrial ecology.

Postdoc in stochastic patch occupancy

Developing stochastic patch occupancy models for European forests  Irstea invites applications for a postdoc position that will develop stochastic patch occupancy models for European forests to evaluate their resilience to ongoing climate change within the project REFORCE (ERA-NET Sumforest call). This will be done by coupling national forest inventory data and tree traits data.

Manager, Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary

This new and exciting position has been established under an innovative partnership arrangement between the Woodlands and Wetlands Trust and the ACT Parks and Conservation Service. It will be responsible for the day to day management of the Mulligans Flat Woodland Sanctuary and surrounding nature reserves. This includes the Mulligans Flat and Goorooyarroo Nature Reserves and associated environmental offset areas. The position will be located in the Parks and Conservation Service of the Environment and Planning Directorate in the ACT.
