We’re excited to announce the upcoming joint conference of the New Zealand Ecological Society (NZES) and the Society for Conservation Biology Oceania (SCBO), taking place 30 November - 4 December 2026 at AUT in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, Aotearoa New Zealand!
This conference will bring together ecologists, conservation scientists, practitioners, Indigenous knowledge holders, and policy leaders from across Oceania. With a theme focused on "Changing the Conversation – Ecology in a Shifting Political Landscape", we’ll explore the ways ecology and conservation science and practice can respond to and influence environmental policy and action.
