We collect ethnicity data to report on diversity and the representativeness of our membership c.f. society in general. Please feel free to self-describe or select multiple choice, or not answer at all. We require 'an' answer, but it can be 'prefer not to say' - this is to avoid people forgetting to fill in this section. Note that as per stats NZ "Ethnicity is a measure of cultural affiliation. It is not a measure of race, ancestry, nationality, or citizenship. Ethnicity is self perceived and people can belong to more than one ethnic group."
