INTECOL (International Association for Ecology) Is holding elections for Board members prior to the Congress. Turnover of half of the INTECOL Board will occur, and a new Board including leadership roles, will be announced during the Congress.
INTECOL is threfore now seeking nominations new for INTECOL Board members. Each ecological society can nominate up to two candidates, with a maximum of 2 members from each society to be represented on the board. They are seeking candidates who will contribute to the vision of “INTECOL as the International Voice of Ecology”, be active and work together with us in a friendly global team environment. If you would like to represent the New Zealand Ecological Society on the INTECOL board, or would like any further information, please get in touch with Shona Myers (current NZES INTECOL representative) by the 19th of June. The council will need to send nominations to INTECOL by the 1st of July. An online election will be run in July 2022. Each society will be able to vote in the election. Officer positions will then be elected from within the new Board.
