Membership of the Society has remained almost static during the year. During the year, 13 resignations were received; 15 new members were accepted. Membership now comprises 450 members and 113 subscribers to the Proceedings.

Council recorded with regret the deaths of Dr J. T. Holloway and V. D. Zotov during the year.
